How did you feel when you found out you were chosen to be Kappa Psi’s brother of the month?

I was thrilled to be brother of the month. I did feel there were brothers who were just as deserving if not more, but it felt good being appreciated by the brothers for my work. It’s an honor to serve Kappa Psi and I will continue to put my best effort forward.

What are you enjoying the most so far from being a Brother of Kappa Psi?

I enjoy the bonds I’ve made with the brothers. I’ve met so many people through Kappa Psi and have made great memories with them.

Can you tell us about some of the on-going projects you are involved with in Kappa Psi?

Unfortunately our blood pressure screenings were cut off for this semester. I’m trying to help out on getting those up again by trying to find sponsors. I’m also working on trying to get the blood donating event we’ll be having on campus into a Kappa Psi professional event.

What is your current year in pharmacy school and what are you enjoying the most out of your classes? Is there a particular class you enjoy the most? Why?

I am currently a P2 student. I’m really enjoying Patient Care. I love how it sets you up to counsel and help patients. I do also thoroughly enjoy PDA III too though. I love learning about the mechanisms and properties of drugs.

What initially made you interested to pursue a career in pharmacy?

I’ve always wanted to be a pharmacist since high school. I love science and have always been curious about how drugs worked so I knew I’d enjoy the journey to be a pharmacist. I also loved that I’d be able to contribute to helping the community get better.

Do you have any hobbies? What are your interest and/or how do you usually like to spend your free time?

I enjoy watching boxing, mma, listening to podcasts, and working out. I keep updated with what’s happening in boxing and mma daily. I like to spend my free time spending time with family and friends, working out, and listening to Joe Rogan podcasts (He always has really interesting guest on). I believe you should always be doing something and not wasting time because you only get one life and you should get the most out of it.

What is an interesting fact or story about you that many people don’t know?

I used to wrestle in high school as 5’9 and 119 lbs. In my upcoming years in high school I grew inches and went up weight classes.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I see myself being a hard working pharmacist who impacts his community, going to the gym more consistently, and watching mma and boxing fights every single Saturday. For everything else I’m not sure at the moment.

I really like this quote because I believe in treating everybody the same and not judging them based on their merits, clothes, economic status, or other’s opinions on them.
